A splendid Venetian house located right in the heart of Venice, at just a few steps from the famous Rialto Bridge, and only a 10-minute walk from Piazza San Marco.
Representing an ideal solution for a large family or group of friends, the structure is comprised of a first floor apartment furnished in typical elegant Venetian style, as well as a second floor penthouse apartment that's characterized by a more eclectic choice of furnishings.
Guests will therefore have their choice of two separate apartments, respectively known as the Sole ("Sun") and the Luna ("Moon"):
The roomy Luna penthouse apartment on the second floor is furnished entirely in modern style, featuring an immense dining room with ample natural lighting and a highly functional kitchen equipped with everything needed to prepare exceptional meals. The eight-seater dining room table is capable of accommodating the entire family, while the living room couch, in addition to serving as a comfortable twin sofa bed, also offers an excellent place to sit back and relax.
The sleeping area consists of a double bedroom complete with a king size bed, wardrobe and TV area, as well as a separate room with a twin sofa bed for a fifth person.
The spacious bathroom is extremely will lit, and comes complete with a shower cubicle, toilet, bidet and hair dryer.
The various other amenities offered by the Sole and Luna apartments include free Wi-Fi internet access, a laundry room complete with a washer and dryer on the ground floor, and a convenient luggage deposit in case of departure after check-out time.
Located in a central but quiet setting, the Luna Pethhouse is in the heart of Venice, in a picturesque neighbourhood that offers easy access to all of the tourist sites, including Saint Mark's and the Rialto Bridge, as well as to public transportation.
The apartment is just a few metres from Campo SS Apostoli: in just 5 minutes, you can get to the Rialto Bridge, the bustling commercial heart of Venice, and in a lovely, 10-minute stroll along typical Venetian streets and through tiny piazzas filled with shops and boutiques, you will arrive at St Mark's Square.
There are also lots of less-known treasures to discover in the area, including the church of the Madonna dell'Orto, the church of the Gesuiti, the little church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli and the Museo della Ca' d'Oro on the Grand Canal.
The vaporetto (water bus) stop closest to the apartment is Ca' d'Oro (#1).
Please note: the map can be misleading if you don’t know Venice, i.e. some places may look distant and far out: just consider that it takes just 30 minutes to cross the whole island on foot.
Therefore, from Cannaregio neighbourhood, you will be able to walk to San Marco’s square in no more than 10-15 minutes. Just to give you an idea.
