The apartment is also equipped with TV, air conditioning, heating, and washing machine. The apartment has been recently furnished to recreate a bright and cosy atmosphere, where you can relax and feel at home. The modern style mixes with typical Venetian details, such as the beautiful beams on the ceiling.
The apartment is located on a turn-off of Lista di Spagna, the animated road full of shops, only 10 minutes away from Piazzale Roma and near the Santa Lucia railway station. The apartment is only a few metres away from the water bus stop, which allows you to reach the centre of Venice passing through the Grand Canal. This beautiful position will allow you to visit the most authentic corners of Venice, from the ancient Jewish ghetto, to the Cannaregio District, where you can discover traditional Venetian taverns and the beautiful Gothic church of Madonna dell’Orto. A few minutes away from the apartment, you can explore the market of Ponte delle Guglie, Palazzo Vendramin Calergi – the highest expression of Venetian Renaissance, which now houses a Casino – the prestigious Cà Pesaro gallery, and Cà d’Oro, the extraordinary building mirrored in the Grand Canal, which houses a museum showcasing works by Mantegna and Tiziano.
Please note: the map can be misleading if you don’t know Venice, i.e. some places may look distant and far out: just consider that it takes just 30 minutes to cross the whole island on foot.
Therefore, from Cannaregio neighbourhood, you will be able to walk to San Marco’s square in no more than 10-15 minutes. Just to give you an idea.
